1. Who We Are

ReflectSpace CIC
A community-interest organisation offering accessible counselling, reflective practice, and trainee counsellor placements.

2. Services Provided

ReflectSpace CIC provides:

  • Counselling for adults

  • Sessions delivered by student counsellors under professional supervision

  • Low-cost therapy model to support accessibility and training pathways

  • Reflective practice support and wellbeing resources

  • Placement opportunities for trainee counsellors

Our services are designed for non-emergency emotional and wellbeing support.

3. Suitability of Services

ReflectSpace CIC supports individuals experiencing:

  • Stress & emotional overwhelm

  • Mild-to-moderate anxiety or depression

  • Low confidence or self-esteem

  • Life transitions and personal growth goals

  • Grief, loss, relationship or identity challenges

We are not suitable for emergency, acute risk, or complex clinical needs.
In such cases, we may refer you to appropriate services.

4. Not an Emergency Service

ReflectSpace CIC does not provide crisis support.

If you are in crisis or at immediate risk, contact:

  • NHS: 111 or your GP

  • Samaritans: 116 123

  • Emergency Services: 999

5. Counselling Relationship

Counselling at ReflectSpace CIC involves:

  • Confidential, supportive sessions

  • Delivered by student counsellors under qualified supervision

  • Collaborative and reflective approach

  • Ethical practice aligned with BACP/BABCP principles

Counselling outcomes cannot be guaranteed.

6. Fees & Payments

  • Session fees are confirmed prior to booking

  • Payment terms will be shared when scheduling sessions

  • Missed or late-cancelled sessions (less than 24 hours’ notice) may be charged

7. Cancellation & Rescheduling

You may cancel or reschedule sessions with at least 24 hours’ notice.

Repeated last-minute cancellations may affect continued access to sessions.

8. Confidentiality & safeguarding

Your sessions are confidential except where:

  • You pose a serious risk to yourself or others

  • There is a safeguarding concern

  • Legal disclosure is required

  • Material must be reviewed in clinical supervision

Trainee counsellors are professionally supervised to ensure safe practice.

9. Client Responsibilities

Clients agree to:

  • Provide accurate information and personal details

  • Attend scheduled appointments or give sufficient notice

  • Engage respectfully and appropriately

  • Seek emergency services if in immediate risk

Abuse, harassment, or aggressive behaviour will not be tolerated.

10. Website Use

You agree not to:

  • Use our website for unlawful purposes

  • Copy or reproduce content without permission

  • Attempt to disrupt or compromise site security

11. Intellectual Property

All content on this website, including text, branding, and images, is the property of ReflectSpace CIC unless otherwise stated.
